Chinchillas are a very small rabbit-sized rodent, with big ears and a long tail. Chinchillas are in a class of exotic animals, but they have become popular as pets. They are very odd-looking creatures, with ears of a mouse and a tail like that of a squirrel. It has a face similar to that of a mouse or hamster.
